The Marimekko Tarhuri cotton-linen fabric has an acrylic coating that makes it extremely easy to keep clean; the fabric is ideal for sewing a tablecloth or placemats, for example. Printed in Helsinki, Finland, the colourful fabric features a pattern by Maija Louekari depicting various delicious gifts of nature. Named after the Finnish word for “gardener”, the pattern represents the joy that only self-grown fruits and vegetables can bring – the crop from your own garden always tastes the best.
