Marimekko Pieni Siirtolapuutarha Fabric, Green

Marimekko’s Pieni Siirtolapuutarha fabric features Maija Louekari’s cheerful pattern that depicts beautiful summer flowers growing in allotment gardens. The fabric is heavyweight cotton, and its repeat measures 62 cm. 

Maija Louekari’s Siirtolapuutarha (“allotment garden”) and Räsymatto (“rag rug”) patterns tell stories about country life in an urban environment with a pleasant feeling of nostalgia. Originally released in 2009, the patterns have become classics of modern Finnish design and nowadays they decorate numerous different Marimekko products.
