Marimekko’s Oiva lunchbox is easy to take with you on picnics, to work and on children’s school trips. The charming lunchbox is decorated with an embossed Räsymatto pattern drawn by Maija Louekari, telling the story of rural life in an urban environment.
The multi-purpose box can be used not only for carrying snacks but also as a container on its own: the lid of the lunchbox serves as a plate, while the base can be used as a deep bowl. The off-white box is made of Sulapac, which is a biodegradable and bio-based material, and comes with a band that can be used to secure the lid in place. Note that the band is not a rubber band, even though it looks like one – so do not stretch it too much to avoid the band breaking.
This item is part of the Marimade collection which celebrates everyday life and its peculiar moments. The multifunctional and ecological products are made of upcycled leftover material from Marimekko’s production. Please note that each product is unique and patterns and colours might differ from the ones you see in the picture.
