Marimekko’s Mono Mini Tote bag is decorated with the Pulloposti print in bold shades of bright red and natural white. Made of unbleached organic cotton, the bag features short handles and an open exterior pocket with a printed Marimekko logo. This small yet sturdy tote bag can also be used as a handbag. The fabric is printed in Helsinki, Finland.
Finnish for “message in a bottle”, the Pulloposti print from 1965 was designed by Maija Isola, inspired by Mediterranean landscapes and sea creatures. Isola found inspiration for the print from the island of Crete and its vibrant underwater world.
