Marimekko’s Mono Mini Crossbody bag is decorated with the Pulloposti print in bold shades of bright red and natural white. Made of unbleached organic cotton, the shoulder bag features an adjustable shoulder strap, a zipper closure and an open exterior pocket with a printed Marimekko logo. This small crossbody bag can also be used as a handbag. The fabric is printed in Helsinki, Finland.
Finnish for “message in a bottle”, the Pulloposti print from 1965 was designed by Maija Isola, inspired by Mediterranean landscapes and sea creatures. Isola found inspiration for the print from the island of Crete and its vibrant underwater world.
