Marimekon Korkeuksissa cotton fabric features a checkered pattern created by Antti Kekki using a paper-cutting technique. The design depicts pink cherry blossoms blown high into the air by the spring wind. In between the flowers, you can see geometric wave-like surfaces – perhaps skyscrapers glistening in the sunlight.
Made of unbleached cotton and finished with hues of green and pink, the Korkeuksissa (“high up”) cotton fabric is perfect for creating a custom tablecloth or a pair of curtains. The fabric is printed in Helsinki, Finland.
