Marimekko’s Ahkera bag features two well-known Marimekko prints: the geometric Tasaraita pattern with a large, slightly translucent Marimekko logo. Originally designed by Annika Rimala in 1968 as a go-to piece for jeans, the Tasaraita pattern symbolizes equality, and it has coloured Finnish homes and clothing for already half a century.
Made of durable yet lightweight cotton canvas, the Ahkera tote bag is ideal as a shopping bag, workout bag or bag for short weekend trips. The bag is machine-washable, and the fabric has been printed in Helsinki, Finland.
